The sticks woods which lays below the castle leads to a isolated beach known as Scott's bay which encompasses a walk over Llansteffan headland and overlooking the Taf river and parts of Laugharne, (famous for Dylan Thomas's Boathouse) and many more Pembrokeshire attractions including Caldy Island, Tenby and Oakwood theme park which are to the south west of Llansteffan and are about a half hour's drive away.

Also nearby are the national Botanical Gardens, Pembrey Country Park and Motorsport Centre.Llansteffan is situated between the Gower Peninsular and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Parks which have great walks and St Davids Cathedral and other splendid sites to visit.
